Good news from the South of France...

U2, potentially the greatest band in all of history (at the very least in terms of longevity and relevance), and very palsy-walsy with Jaime Camil (from the Siete Días days), has been heard working on some new songs. The fansite, U2Exit, features a surreptitiously-recorded 18 minutes of songs, including one obscure Strokes cover (7.30). Enjoy!

I finally saw U2 live this past November, when they played the day before my birthday in L.A. Although I wasn't really in love with HTDAAB, the energy and devotion of their performance totally swayed me. I left with one souvenir like a brand on my heart - my ears haven't stopped ringing. It comes like an ocean tide, singing me to sleep at night. Although I regularly wear earplugs to see live shows, I took them out *just this once* to fully experience the force that is U2 - well then, thanks dear boys for the memories - they will always be with me...
